Promised they would give me an estimate for some pretty expensive work I was prepared to pay for even if it was only an afternoon's work. Three weeks and roughly 7 phone calls later. I haven’t heard anything from them. I really wanted to use these guys with the rating they have. No one ever entered my property. I have video cameras and no one ever answers the phone. No idea how they would know they don’t want the job.

I would like to share the experience I had with this company. It is in line with some of the experiences that other people had with Ithaca Construction and I think my summary will probably cover most. I would certainly not recommend doing any business with Ithaca Construction but stick with me please, it's a telling, informative, and frustrating story that I will share below. So here I am with a need for a deck repair. I reached out by email and pretty soon got a one line response (no greeting, no name, but ok...) just asking me when would be a good time for them to come and take a look. I responded immediately with a proposal and again pretty quickly got a response with an availability window that was completely outside of my initial proposal. Anyway, I thought in order to get the ball rolling, I would agree to the proposed Thursday morning at 9am and took a few hours off from work to be available. On the day, after an hour long wait and no sign or message from the contractor, I tried to reach out. Update: I was going to delete this, but I think it’s better that I leave the original review up to show that the company is responsible and cares about its work. After, getting in contact with Maurice, they sent out an excellent (different) team of workers to fix my ceiling and I can’t even tell that it had ever been worked on. They were communicative and professional. Now, I understand why they got so many good reviews. They earned them and the latter work was more indicative of that. I’m not sure what happened initially, but I’m glad that they took responsibility for it and fixed the problem. I wouldn’t hesitate to hire them again. See a before and after photo below. OLD REVIEW:These guys are shady. I hired them to repair some drywall. The price was high, but they were nearby, and they said they could start the next day, so I was like fine. Let’s get it going. They did a really shoddy job on the drywall. Left spaces of over an inch in some places. The tape fell off after they left the first round. Fell off! Called them all the way from Atlanta to help service a family member who is a local. Awesome work. I spoke with Maurice and all I can say is he kept it professional and made me feel like family. Would recommend anyone to don't hesitate, GIVE HIM A CALL NOW!! the work was outstanding and will be looking to use your service again in the future. THANKS again!!

This is a great business, everyone is hard working and productive if anyone needs any help with construction go through them there amazing! They get things done on time and always makes sure the customer is satisfied.
